A single Zales Jewelers store opened in 1924 has evolved over the years to six retail brands and approximately 1,900 stores by staying true to its original vision: provide customers with quality merchandise at the lowest possible price.
In recent years, Zale has focused on differentiating the Zale’s brand even as it’s expanded its brand portfolio with Gordon’s, Zales Outlet, Peoples, and Mappins and has rearranged its executive team to build out those brands for a strong future.
“This past fiscal year was challenging, but we made continued progress in key areas that position us for improved performance,” said Theo Killion, CEO. “Rest assured, however, that we are not satisfied with that progress alone. We are singularly focused on restoring the company to profitability and growth. Until we do so, we will not be content.”
